You have captured some lovely shades of green here Alan.
Well captured shot!
A closed door begs to be opened, what's on the other side?
So much to examine in this one close look!
Some great textures and super weathering.
Splendido dettaglio!
Wonderful how the carpenter used scrap pieces of wood to make the door - a one of a kind find.
Fantastic textures and details. An excellent shot!
You can certainly see the wear in the stone and that crack in the door just gives a tempting glimpse of what might be on the other side, good shot Alan
Great detail and textures!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
wonderful natural colored gate! nature is the best artist! ;o)
Fantastic light and mood. Superb shot
EXCELLENT WORK
I guess "green" architecture is not a modern concept. I am always amazed at how well built these structures are.
I love this; the texture and shape of the wooden door and frame, and the ivy growing around it make such a pleasing composition! Well seen!!!
I look at this and think about the passage of time...years and years since some artisan crafted this door and frame. Love the atmosphere generated by this small glimpse...
if only the passage way could talk and tell of the people that past it's way. superb subject
Superb composition..lots to see and admire..textures, colours and the cropping.
Fantastic closeup ... Wonderfully captured !!!
Very nice indeed Alan. Love the textures and that mossy door is fab.
Yellow jelly fungi on the aging arch, dead leaves and lots of green algae on the broken door!
Lovely colour and detail.
