Description
I don't like posting the same image twice but I did debate when I posted the colour version of "The Old Barn" whether it would have been better in monochrome, Jeff thought it would so here it is for Jeff :)
Perhaps you might like to leave some thoughts on which you prefer. My thanks to all of you for your constructive criticisms they are always welcome,
Have a great weekend, Rob

cool work!
Nice capture!
Great job on this... awesome in black and white... :-)
Marvelous also in B&W... Fantastically captured !
Thanks Rob, I like it very much. There are some wonderful tonal ranges in there and it is an instant favourite for me.
I do like both, but the monochrome adds a certain mood that matches the ill repair of this barn. I like this a touch better for that reason. Great shots on both.
It is close, old in b/w in the past to sit. It does not always work ..... but here it fits very well.
Well spotted.
I like this in b&w. Really lends mood- a solitary, lonely feel. Great shot, Rob.
this is a beauty,so suited to b&w
Such a poetic image...wonderful mood and place to be
Amazing work my friend, spectacular the monochromatic gist a marvelous mood to the image!
Looks great in B+W Rob.
Splendid composition and B/W my friend
Both are great but I like the monochrome version a little bit better!
Excellent B/W version of the color picture you posted last. Very nicely done and great mood!
Beautiful B & W picture Very well done!!!!
cool
I did prefer the color version because of the angry sky but that angry shy came through in the monochrome version as well!
bw much better imho - coog job doing the conversion :-)
Always a chiuce to make color /B&W, works well here for me.
SO beautiful, Also in monocrome. :)
So Lovely, I know Jeff very well used to be our neighbours years ago,
Beautiful also in B&W********
cool dedi and impressive in b/w, both are special and have also their own expression, b/w is stronger and there is more dramatic in it! ;o)
Looks so old very nice work on this.
Excellent black and white!!!
The monochrome version fits very well. Well done.
Both shots work, but i think that monochrome is more in keeping with the ramshackle state of the buildings. Also the sky looks much more dramatic.
Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
