A true British icon! Unfortunately I couldn't get a front on view because they had parked it nose on into another car. DOH!

I remember trying to change the distributor head in one of these because the drivers hands were too big to work in the available space. Nightmare! Pretty to look at, very uncomfy to ride, worse to mend.
Wonderful little car. I owned a Mini in the early 60's.
Looks very British and I do like that look however, as Andrea says, service is another matter. With my 1959 MGA I had to carry a loop of piano wire to replace part of the linkage in the throttle which would not allow a larger wire and would break about once a month. I eventually became quite fast at it, having once changed it while in line at a Burger King without keeping anyone waiting. Cool photo anyway Andrew!

Cheers mate :) The early ones are my favourite with the sliding windows, outside door hinges and the lovely wavy grill. Even from the rear this is fantastic and as you say a true British icon. Not always easy to work on but i'd rather zip around in this than a current boring Nissan Micra :)

What can I write about this one----never seen one, can't comment about it. Nice shot though. I would have given anything to see the front of that ride, couldn't you have pushed it back a little to get the shot? What's wrong with you Andrew? oh, that was my dream car 35 years back! and he was dangerous to life - had lost friends - to fast, to small, less safety... but coooool!
