Description
Early on Thursday morning I spotted this Spotted Eagle-Owl on the roof of my garage. Later I saw that it in a tree in my garden where it spent the day out of the sun, sleeping. At sunset it was out on the roof again in far better light with the setting sun.
The other regular bird visitors to my garden were not phased at all, pigeons and doves landing just next to it. Not stressed about posing for shots either.
It was in the tree on Friday morning, but we have had very strong wind and rain and I have not seen it since.
