This is a very well done and thoughtful work of art, Seth! I'll have to go check out that song, but this leaves so many avenues open for the viewer to create his/her own story. That's a hallmark of great art. Yeah, I'm getting this one, too. She's a dead ringer for Tilda Swinton..

Touching image, the lighting and the simple decor fit very well to the theme, excellent, Seth !
i love puzzles and mysteries of all sorts (a trait of those drawn to archaeology--we weave stories from shreds of evidence, pieces of puzzles after all). your piece presents a mystery of sorts: unkept promises? unrealized expectations? unexplained absences? i like how you've used the starkness of the scene to add to her feeling of "aloneness" and desolation that has descended upon her...i don't see this necessarily as a "love" situation gone bad...could have been a father who suddenly walked out on his family and left without a trace, but finally finds the courage/has the need to give his daughter that letter he wrote to her 20 years ago ... really well done, Seth...
