Description
StarCraft has its beloved Siege Tank, and the Middle Ages had its counterweight trebuchet. This devastatingly effective catapult weapon could hurl a 300-pound projectile or a flaming incendiary device over a thousand feet. Wheels were sometimes incorporated into the device not as a means of making them mobile, but were added to increase the range of the device by allowing the massive frame to move slightly upon deployment of the payload.
