Fantastic structures that apparently span an entire planet.
Yes, it's intended as a planet-spanning structure, but the physics is all wrong. The docks and such should probably be on the underside of the construct to provide spin gravity in the correct orientation, but aesthetically, that almost certainly wouldn't have worked out. So kindly indulge your willing-suspension-of-disbelief! Thanks, as always, for you comment!
the orbital ring is an amazing thing. though i am more partial to the original series, this is still quite cool.
