Description
Still life
Still life, it makes the world so quiet,
before we move along.
I call it cropped emotion,
Because it’s fear before it’s done?
Working in fields, we’re always praying,
for the rain and for the sun,
but with October rains and lightning,
harvest this way is for sure no fun.
Potatoes and the carrots soaking,
the harvest moon came much to fast.
But at the end when all is inside,
we know that new seasons never last.
