I thought I was going to get this posted yesterday in time for the holiday but so goes it with "best laid plans". While not an overtly "Halloweeny" image, this was something I was playing with as the date approached and time has a way of getting away from me here lately. Guess I should've stuck a candle in a pumpkin maybe, lol. I'm hanging in there and doing OK, all things considered. I sincerely thank all of you for your empathy in this latest play of the cards in my deck, it means a lot and I debated pretty strongly whether or not to even mention what was going on. Possibly, myself like many others, I've always used sites I've been more involved with such as here, or even the old "Sims2" site I was a moderator at and very involved with as a form of pure escapism, trying my best to keep personal problems buried and enjoying the sites for what they offered ~ a way to step far from day-to-day troubles, even if it was for the very briefest of moments sometimes. Credits: I dragged out good old Vicky 3 for this one and used the still ever-so-lovely 'GND2' morphs/mats and 'Blood Fang' outfit and knives from "Blackheart" on her. I then added the old freebie hip cloth from "Awful (Aery) Soul" to it to spice it up a little bit. One of my favorite stand-by's, the venerable 'Sapphire Fox' hair from "Quarker" (Daz) tops her off. Setting is DM's freebie 'WoL' from their site with odds and ends added like the candelabra, table, and the smaller chains from some of the various sets hanging out in my runtime, as well as a trio of skulls from "Andi3D". The lit skull came from the freebies here and the crown on it... well, hard to say. My lighting finishes things off. My thanks to everyone for taking a better peek. There simply are not enough thanks for those that have sent prayers, thoughts, power, and well wishes my way... the many fine artists and creators I've "met" here are what's kept me coming back for quite a few years now and to hell with the politics and popularity contests that seem to be so integral to many of them... I've tried very hard not to get involved in them. Besides, I seem to have a few other things that are a tad more important to me right now than to consider whose at the top of the "art charts" this week. My best to you all, be good to each other.
