Brilliant picture Andrea. Natures bouquet.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
cool find and capture
Beautiful shot and find!
interesting composition nice assembling colors
The light really is gorgeous, and I love your composition! I can almost feel the softness of cedar, the sharp poke of holly, the creamy texture of a maple leaf not yet dried, and the brittle crunch of brown-dead leaves. This is glorious! You make me miss autumn ... it doesn't happen down here in the desert!
Festive looking.
Wow... what a beautiful rich colorful salute to fall!
It looks like an exotic salad, this mix of outdoors. Beautiful fungus and an excellent capture!
Ah ha, the two words that immediately came to mind were festive and salad...I see folks beat me to them:) A richly colored delight.
Beautiful picture!!!!!!!
Beautiful pic.
A perfect autumn shot. Love it and the fungus is just AWEsome :)
It is a lovely pic!!
Superb lighting and details
So many contrasts..colours and textures all forming a great composition
It looks very fresh and young, was you tempted to try it to eat? I have never found it looking so good, superb shot and find!
Sterling lighting effects dominate this fine pc of the Sparassis crispa, which bears a moderate resemblance to my breakfast cinnamon tainted oatmeal.
Great capture Andrea - love the lighting and composition now I'm hungry!
Excellent capture, and doesn't this fungus look pretty much like pasta... and I do believe this can be eaten but again I say that with caution because 100% of the game is identity and whilst this one is clearly that type it can be easy to mistake some others with disastrous consequences. There is a thin line between edible and poisonous fungus, they can grow quite large.
This is a wonderful image. With the holly leaves its looks like you have the makings of a Christmas wreath. I agree with Mark-David-Rogers. A rather attractive fungus but I'm thinking lasagna noodles.
Looks like a nice form of pasta!
That's beautiful it looks like a coral, love the details and the colour contrasts too Andrea
A great capture and I like the lighting also. The Wood Cauliflower fungus looks like something that should be at the bottom of a large aquarium. An excellent find!
Looks a bit like one of those natural bath sponges.
Beautiful shapes... You found a natural gem here, with a pretty natural setting
