The sixteenth and final image from 'The Living Rainforest'. You can visit their website here: The Living Rainforest Link. A delightful diversion in the tea room garden near the children's play area is this likeness of a Velociraptor emerging from among the ferns. Amusingly, for a scientific establishment, this model has been created in the large lizard image whereas it was established in 2007 that this creature was, most probably, covered in feathers and most certainly possessed large wing feathers, as evidenced by fossil quill knobs. Still, I suspect that this likeness was created while the 'Jurassic Park' image was still prevalent as it is also larger than a normal Velociraptor. :-) ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 13 Sep 2013
