Description
We are in La Quinta, California visiting with cousins and their families. Our camp site for this stop is a mere 7-8 minutes from their house. This is the view from our campsite...we call this "roughing it"...:)
Lake Cahuilla, California. Oh, and yes it is hot here for us from the vicinity of Seattle, Washington. It is still getting into the low 90s F (32+ C).

Ah, the local swimming hole. See the sea monster yet? Oops! I think I'm thinking of another place. ;-) What is most triking is the mirror surface on the water and the highly detailed reflection on the surface. Keep up the good work! :-)
