Description
Every year I grow some ornamental gourds just for fun.
One of last years suddenly decided to grow a furry coat, so I got a couple of close-up pics on the way to the compost.

Creeping crud, yikes!
This is really very good. Bravo.
very good and cool macro, Andrea
Very cool picture!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good pic. Andrea
Very nice! There are so many strange, almost alien, life forms in the world. Many are considered a nuisance or even disgusting, but a close look usually reveals unexpected beauty.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Some pretty patterns on the mould!!
Superb macro. Fantastic details!
HA! You had early snow this year HUH? ;-D Glad you found this and took some shots :)
GREAT MACRO
Very interesting I was unaware gourds grew mold, Andrea. Looks like a decaying snow-capped pumpkin. Or Mars during its winter?
Now I'm jealous. I can't grow anything on my top. Wonderful shapes and textures.
Wonderful, it's great what grows on things when they start to decay.
On zoom this is really stunning. What a great shot, Andrea.
Impressive capture. Very well done
Fuzzy mold and I like the look of it on that gourd!
Very interesting, if the lower part was coloured dark brown maybe it could be mistaken for a home-made christmas pudding, although I think I might decline a slice in this case.
