Description
More in my antique tractor modern vintage calendar series.
These two were both parked in the McCormick section of the show, though I am not so sure of the brand of the yellow beast. Not as nicely detailed as the previous Ford 8N tractor but both still fully functional for tractor pull competition and charming in their own way. I can see both of these guys still being used, whereas the Ford would seem to be more for display at shows.
I particularly love how this shot gets all the primary colors involved.
Thanks to Whaleman for providing a model name for the Ford - if you know anything about these two I would like to know. I was glad to read that some of you were familiar with these machines.
This was done with my Fuji X20 compact, hence the very low focal length, would equal 14 mm on a full frame. These new compacts really amaze me with their image quality and the Fuji shoots vivid which gives me a head start in photoshop.

and Fabulous machines! Fantastic picture my friend !
Yes, you've got the primary colors well-covered here - a bold, bright, appealing photo...
nice shot!
Wow! Beautiful machine, Roxy-sensei!
really beautiful in a quaint way. I always loved the farms.
excellent
These really are some cool old tractors, Roxie. Reminds me of some I saw at the combine salvage where a friend took me once.
I believe the yellow tractor from the MM on the front is the legendary Minneapolis Moline. The Red one of course a McCormick just like my grandfather had (and is still in use by my family). Beautiful and nostalgic work!!
This is such a cool image love how it pops out
Great post !
very good shot
Just as twelvemark21 has said Minneapolis Moline is the yellow one! They had excellent tractors too I believe. Both of these tractors were serious workhorses.Great photo!
A touch too much HDR for me, but still an excellent Image.
