St. Giles Cathedral or more correct High Kirk of Edinburh is one of the most prominent and one of the oldest buildings in Edinburgh. As it looks now it dates back to the end of the 14th century but some parts should be older. As most of the old impressive buildings it is placed on the Royal Mile leading up to Edinburgh Castle (opposite direction). If interested I have a link below about this beautiful old Church.

St. Giles is a spectacular old cathedral and exquisite stained glass windows while looking out from the inside!
