Description
Another shot of some sort of Eupeodes hoverfly on the leaves of Dahlia 'Purple Gem', this time of the face.
You are all very kind about my insect photos, but I remind you that the TZ is a good camera with a Leica lens...ALL I do once I have chosen the ISO and the macro setting is point it in the right direction and hold it still.

Whatever you do you do it well Andrea.
Wow, in his face indeed! You sure got a great portrait of this little guy!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Say Cheese!... chuckle... you clearly have a connection with every subject you capture, nicely captured, the many wonderful images you have been able to capture make people think twice before stamping on some troublesome bug or making the effort to put an uninvited guest back outside.. namely of the insect kind than the human type, that is if it's xmas and there is no vacant seating available. :-)
great macro
A fantastic shot with lots of details beautifully taken
Wonderful macro shot Andrea, and remember you have to know what you are doing to take the shot anyway, well done!! hugs Jane xx
cracking macro, So sharp
Superb pic.
Another gorgeous shot. You are so good at portraits, Andrea ;-) It can be a challenge to take shots of insects.
Amazing closeup!!
Incredible shot!
Excellent shot. Aloha
Super macro work.
Superb Macro!! It looks like he has a stone in his shoe with that front leg held up and an "Ow" face!
Another superb capture of the formidable looking hoverfly, on the dahlia ,in this fabulous image, A. I have an American model Tizzy, with a Leica lens, and wonder if I can obtain such excellent macros with it. My knot shots come out pretty good though.
Fantastic macro. That bee looks huge!!!!
G O R G E O U S MACRO
Stunning macro Andrea! love all the little details in this shot
"Ground control to Major Tom." I still say they look like they are wearing a jet pilot's helmet. "ALL I do once I have chosen the ISO and the macro setting is point it in the right direction and hold it still." Andrea, you would be surprised how many of us can't even get that right.
Even if you have the best kit in the world, if you dont know how to use it (which you clearly do) you will still take rubbish shots. Everything on this is perfect, WELL DONE !!!!!
Fantastic nice sharp close-up.
Good one Andrea. Here's looking atchya :)
Very impressive close up !
Well, it's a superb picture, i never even get close to something like this... To tell the truth "point it in the right direction and hold it still" is not so common... At least you choose very well the right direction, the right compo, and press the button exactly in the right moment...
It is a super capture Andrea but I zoomed without thinking and it is not a friendly face!!!!!!!
Great DOF here. Very well done
What a cracking close up.
Panasonic make the very best cameras in this class. Excellent.
