i was just around some of these last week. I meant to take some photos but things didn't go well there...I've always liked cows...not to eat...they are quite docile animals...just walking around eating grass all the day. I was raised around cows...some people like to knock them down in their sleep. I've always thought this cruel. people want to scream about animal cruelty especially when it comes to dogs and cats...imo they are all just animals put here for human benefit. it's like one of my neighbors has a chicken in a little triangular 'cage'. I was out tending my fence the other day and it was just staring at me from its cage about 4 or 5 times larger than a shoebox like what they are in at the factories. how is this better for the chicken??? these people claim they want chickens in the city because it is healthier eggs they produce. the money and effort to keep the chicken defeats the purpose and this is not a free range chicken. it's in a cage. chickens belong in the country with the cows on a farm...not in the city. yet another example of local government stupidity and greed. they benefit because they charge a fee for a person to have chickens in the city. I think it is cruel and ignorant...but that's the south as history has shown all of us...although I researched and most major cities are allowing chickens now...again imo this is ridiculous. I was raised on a farm...if these 'animal lovers' want chickens they should move to the country.imo...but that probably won't happen until the 'cows come home'...next they will allow cows in the city i'm sure...a source of milk to feed and don't let me get started on that subject either...lol anyway I love to watch live cows...in the country of course...excellent subject and photo... chills and thrills
