Description
Even with my longest lens, this was the closest I could get. This guy was up REALLY high. I like the photo because he looks like a stuffed toy. But this Red Panda was very much REAL! He was soooo far up that you could barely see him from the ground. There were a few people who were wondering what the heck I was looking at. I only noticed it because a small boy was looking up and pointing.

Still a great shot; the zoo up in Eureka just got a couple of red pandas and everyone's pretty excited. They are gorgeous animals!!
He seems to have fear or shy......so lovely!
I think he was just basking in the sun. He was far too high up to scared of us on the ground.
