Description
Recently, my friends and I paid a visit to one of my areas hidden gems. Hidden inasmuch as I didn't know it existed.
The place is called 'The Living Rainforest'. It is situated in some large hot-houses and is a collection of flora and fauna indigenous to rain forests.
You can visit there website here:
The Living Rainforest.
My next few submissions will be from this delightful attraction which acts as an educational centre for local schools, a scientific study centre and public attraction.
This photo is a Flamingo Flower. They come in a large range of reds and really look like plastic flowers. Fascinating plant, though, and a really good day out. :-)

Fantastic close-up!
Wow!
Beautiful flower, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are beautiful plants... Nice capture. Aloha
Great picture... They really are interesting flowers, but I don't find them so exotic, maybe because in my country (I live in North of Italy) they are quite common as plants for interiors... We call them 'Anturio'... Really a good work with colours!
