Description
A spin off from the previous image. Often, Native Americans would "adopt" settlers' children if their parents had been killed. Some tribes treated them harshly and other tribes would incorporate them into the tribe as family members. Hawk, was adopted by the tribe and so named because of his affinity for these birds.

Excellent work!
Nicely done! There are many tales of captives and their treatment by Native Americans. It's sad that nothing about the original inhabitants of this country is taught (at least not honestly) in most schools.
This has tones of fierce independence in it. It is a powerful piece and very well done. I like the expression that both man and beast are giving each other.
another well done native american figure.
I see the respect the man and the bird have for each other. Each honoring the other. Nice. Rick
