Description
Captured 4/18/10, at an auto show held at a park in distant Cucamonga/Guasti, California.
ZOOM for explicit details, especially of the engine.
Jock likes these flamers, but no free food or beverages at this show.
With all of the gopher holes in the lawn, not the greatest venue for an auto show, but there was a nice big lake nearby.
I'm still not receiving ebots on other member's postings, but Renderosity says they're working on the problem. So don't think that I've abandoned you.
Toodles.

Hot for sure!
Great shots of this fanciful ride, Harry; someone has dropped a lot of cash on this one! I do like the shiny motor and the running boards, of course!
Harry, this is the ultimate in cool cars and a great dedi for Jock.
Now this is a hot rod.

Great reflections on the boot/trunk!

Totally outstanding Harry! What a ride! Stunning paintwork, a real blazer!!! Good one and a great dedi! Rob
perfect for Jock not only in subject, but also in the vivid colors, given how vivid his painting is. Always great to come back to your cars. You've given your usual 'complete' montage, though I use 'complete' in quotes, as I know there are so many more angles you'd probably like to present if space and time allowed. But in 4 shots you've given a good overview. The hues are vividly presented, the design and painting are all clear, and the light's quite vivid as well. I'd imagine these are hard to capture, because of the strong contrasts and play of strong light on all that clean chrome: One would, I assume, have to be thoughtful about settings and then postwork. That's one of the things I appreciate about your car work, ie, that you capture these vividly and clearly, where overshot and overblown would be a constant lurking 'threat'. The frontal shot is a potpourri with so much going on visually. Clarity and mystery. The contrasts in the 2d are stunning---esp that eye popping yellow, and of course the jewel-like silver of the engine. The 3d---the engine---is beautiful, with beautiful light accents/highlights. Even the reflections on the lower left headlight are crystal clear. And the 4th---what light! Amazing how the back of the car appears to painted a chrome yellow: Those reflections transform the red. Great that you included that, so we could see the range that these cars offer. I'm thinking of cognac: I'm not very knowledgeable about cognac (mostly UN knowledgeable), but people who swear by it say that, as you roll it over your tongue, you experience a whole range of different tastes (since it's made from several different brandies). Well your car shots show us the same, those 'rolling tastes' that these cars reveal as we roll our eyes across them. That happens with your car shots again and again. Here, the "finish" (as cognac lovers like to call the final taste) hits us in that beautiful reflected back. Fine work on all angles, and on giving fine choices for your montage, as you always do. (Also, the flames in no. 4 are, in your angle, a natural continuation of the curvy lines of the engine. Small choice, but a sweet one. Fine work, Harry.)
