Description
After- shopping get-together. These young women were gathered in front of the Egyptian Spice Bazaar and apparently were done shopping. It was obvious by their animated expressions and laughter that they weren't talking about their purchases.
While gathered there the electronic call to 'asr', the afternoon prayer for the Muslim faithful, was sounded from the Yeni Cami (New Mosque). It was a loud, amplified racket that went on for some time. Not too many people responded to the call.
