Description
Whenever I went out on the hunt, I always made sure that I had this pack with me.. It carried basic survival gear as well as first aid and extra water. Loaded for the hunt, it weighed 18 pounds (about 8.2 Kilos)

Looks like you have your kit stuffed.. great idea, cool shot Mike
good idea something I need to do that I have not been doing
Don't laugh Mike, but I have one of these everyday for work and play! (MANBAG!!!) It has my lunch, my SLR, my jacket, my sunglasses, my work stuff, my Swiss army knife etc etc and goes EVERYWHERE with me! I feel naked without it, even though people ask me if I am climbing Everest at least twice a day! I also have my huge one I use for backpacking/camping that fits all my gear, but that's far too big for everyday use! Here it is...
That is a cool looking backpack. thanks for sharing
nice shot, hard to tell all that you have there Mike.
Sounds like it has everything you could need on a hunting trip Mike. For one upload you should lay it out on a table and show everyone all the stuff you have to bring along.
I'll do that soon! Thanks for the idea
Well that looks like you used it a lot!!!
My survival kit looks more like "VISA"
It's all about survival...I'd like to see a shot of your bow!!!
not a problem I have several 'shots' waiting in the wings
I have a backpack for my camera gear but I tend to to bump into people at airports accidentally, so I hand carry it. my deceased camping buddy from high school would even carry a single size mattress along with all his other gear. he was a big at 6-3
Always best to be prepared Mike. Nicely done.
good idea. A little know age can save you.
I have this feeling that high school kids probably carry almost this much weight daily to and from school nowadays (including laptop?).
Looks like you're well prepared for your journeys, Mike! Nice capture of your gear!
I have two in my bedroom packed and ready to go!
Nice shot, Mike!!
Smart man. Its amazing how many idiots we have in So. Cal. la-de-daing it into the wilderness without water or even a jacket. They forget, no one is immortal.
Looks like you had all the bases covered! Very well photographed too, Mike! A fine memory to be sure!
Much needed and it looks like it has a lot of stories to tell!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
cool
i could not survive for 24 hrs in the woods,i have no notion of first aid etc.this will be one of the first things i will learn when back in luxembourg.the fire departments around the country offer these courses as well as a lot of city townhalls.
Is that what they call a man purse lol sorry had to say that i also do the same but i have to carry two with me just a big load great shot dude.
Well you did have to be prepared for anything!!
Wise!
I have one in the back of my van.
I'm impressed Mike and is that blue tubing so you can drink water without pulling the pack off!
Full of Cougar repellant???.... thank heavens in NZ all we have to really worry about is the odd wild boar, and they can't climb trees!
Very cool hydration backpack!
Safety first!
