Description

Mandelbulb3D Postwork in Photoshop Snowy plants and grasses by BlackStock on DA Birds by Selunia on DA Clouds / mist: my own photo taken from a plane while flying to Canada some years ago. This was the result of tweaking one of my older tweaks of Len's "Alien Blooms". Thanks Len for the params, it was so much fun playing with them and creating something completely new. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking and here are my parameters: Mandelbulb3Dv18{ g.....j0...o5...61...2U...EyG2iF7l0szgteA.SxBYyDV.MzsVKWezPbDqP7VTHrzgNTLpDkf4yD ................................peXvWts.J/2........A./.........E.......UF/2...wD ...Uz6/...U60....c.2/...........u.....kC.....IOpPTE/3AiD/.EmlxuDVfDv0xckpp1....6 /7EnAnAD16..02.........wz0...............................IU0.....y1...sD...../.. .wHnAnIDBuVYjtAYyvvUruxlUaYqyIP5hl9AfKjjEV6lgSOTkvXf43//4kbwy8g0/WVASnjjXmlvch80 jvvev8HL7i2.z0/xDZ7v/UiDU...E6Y/e.............kD.2....sD.MG..................... .............oAnAt1...sD....zw1...................................UwAE7E5....UA. .....Ksulz1.......kzAP2GcVEV.I4.R/...M6.........20aJ6Y0.kYk1....B....Mnz..kaJH52 ..Uc..ubT8qz.0oMU08cc/...66./E/.DysX..UyR/naDM.E6MJOyyyDuz1...........E.EszlLS4. .sM93P58iz9.eLISw7kxz8...........6U0..ylh/..GZwV7TN..b18YqFpt/zj..........E.0c.. zzzz.............0...................2U.8.kzzzD................................. 2664yPcV40..V45GohMrz0kQhv573mxD.gJvG/3hHz1..IqWl0.cU08cee0gAS3.U08cUGJJ.09K..8c U08mxZuMK/.cU08cQs5Vyp9.U08cU0bTbuPI..8cU08lyhubq/.cU08cMw5HIa5.U08cUmqTdy8i..8c U08kzhKTA/.cU08c...cU08cee0cU08cIJ3cU08cwy5cU08cYJKRoJaQjtKOgJrQhJaPn3KNic4Qb/.G E....Ek.l2k..........6....EGiFLNbJaQU.pPrJaQ.........................c.......... ...................7.NaNaNaNaNxj................................................ ................................................................................ .....................2.....3....1....w3Jm3aPnlKMoJ4............................. .....MU/4MU/4.................zD................................................ ................................................................................ ................................m....E/...k.....TNoPgFKOiRKGXxqQV/.............. ..........U/4M.........................EV.A.......65./.....................aNaNa NaNsz0........................................zD................................ ..........................................U.....0....6....EIp34RZ7bPdxaP........ ..........................................EnAnAnAnQ..1.......6zD................ ................................................................................ ........................................................}

I am so glad you posted this. I've read a lot of H.P. Lovecraft over the years, and this is really the first time I feel like someone has captured the cities of non-euclidean geometry. Although he used that term to describe the dead city of R'lyeh, this image brings that concept to bear in the Mountains of Madness or some distant world with a black sun. Even though it was not your intent (from reading your text) to show a truly ALIEN city, that is what I see when I view this image. Thank you so much for blowing my mind!

Thanks so much! I agree to you and must say that "alien fortress" was the first that came to my mind when I spotted this, but since I've used the word "alien" in maybe too many titles for my images yet, I thought this time I'd give it another name for a change ;) Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels are my main inspiration for my works anyway.

Well - your yesterday's image blew my mind, so what is left is totally stunned Sue. To my mind it is more than just Alien, it's a magical fairytale and conjours up and stirs dark and hidden recesses of the memory, with just the bare bones of the original story to be remembered and retold around the fire at night.
