Description
On the way to the Black Hills last week we stopped in Mitchell, South Dakota to see the famous Corn Palace. This building serves as an arena and multi-purpose facility for the town of Mitchell. The exterior walls of the building is decorated with corn cobs, and other crops from the area. The 'crop art' is changed yearly. It has been featured on Food Network, the Travel Channel, National Geographic, and many other media. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

As I was taking photos of it, I thought I heard a jet plane pass, but I never saw anything. I thought something passed in front of the sun momentarily, but it was gone by the time I took my eye away from the camera. It was only afterwards that I noticed the strange craft passing by the sun in my photo. What is it? A UFO? An experimental aircraft out of Ellsworth AFB? Stay tuned as this mystery unwinds....
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I have this week off, so I don't have to go back to zombie shift until next Sunday - then I'll only have to endure it for one week! Sweet!

This is a cool looking place. I have never heard of it. Glad you uploaded it. That craft looks very familiar. Hmmmmmmmmmm ....... I think your girls are keeping you under their protective eye. Perfect job merging the Vanguard into this scene. ;-) Yup. Commenting has indeed been steadily dropping off for some time now Rod. Not sure if some people are just loosing interest or what. This is one hell of a shot!!!!... That's Ranpha, Rico and Trish, heading to help G4 and Ar out of a situation, that happen just after they zipped by your tour group... this Image and the needles image have given me a great Idea... story later.. ( What color was the convertible?).. The first time I was this I didn't notice the Shuttlestar up there in the sky... I was like whoa!! what's that!.. I was expecting maybe seeing G4 or Ar peeking from around the corner or something, when you mention this image on the comments of my last render. And here we see your wicked Photo Manipulation skills, man! I hope to some day make something this cool!.. Outstanding!! Good to hear that you still have a few days till you become Zombiefied next week..
