In my opinion, one of the 10 best car design of all the times.
When the car has been discovered in the Salon de l'Auto in Paris, in 1956 it was a real world revolution in the cars design. Not only the aerodynamic shapes but the conception : a one branch steering wheel, a complex hydraulic shock absorbers system, a particular frame conception.
This is a Poser character with 11 ERC Dials soon available on RR.
In this 3D model, the steering wheel controls both front wheels and the 2 small front highbeam lights, who turn slightly, like it was in reality.

I got stuck behind one of these in Yellowstone park back in the 60's. It smoked so much we thought it had a 2-stroke motor.

Superbe modélisation, tu n'as pas la version cabrio ou la version rallye en préparation ;-) Je me rappelle d'une pub où on voyait une DS (GS peut-être, j'étais pas bien grand) qui passait au-dessus de fûts renversés grâce à sa suspension étonnante..
In my mind one of the best Citroen's ever designed, the GS is another and they came up with some real beauties. Do you have any plans to make the earlier 2 lamp version as this is my favourite.

I rarely comment on your work because it is so far beyond anything i can comprehend when it comes to 3D art creation that I don't have anything constructive to say. But I could not help but join in and agree this is a helluva design. It is a work of art not just an automobile.

I love this Car! A few years ago I was looking for a model of the Deesse, because I was fascinated by the design of this car. I found nothing and made my own; this was the first 3d car that I made ever. You can still find in my gallery. (today I would be able to make a much better model) ........ Do you know the Czechoslovakian Tatra automobiles of the 30's 40's 50's; Tatra 77/ 87/ 97...? They had also a revolutionary futuristic design for this time and they are definitely well worth to be modeled in 3d. Maybe I will do this sometime, unfortunately I cannot spend much time on my computer currently.
