I liked the design of this but just did not know anything about it so maybe someone on here can identify this item.

It must have taken some carrying when full, it looks as though it's pretty heavy even when empty, I can imagine anyone carrying that around a number of years will probably have very sloping shoulders, should be easy to spot and then we can ask them what it was for :) Lovely shot of a very interesting item
