Description
Visitors from the Gulf Region. The guy on the right seems to be their tourguide/protector/assistant/servant and probably came with them from their country of origin.
At first glance they all looked alike, but the headgear is wound differently by some and the trimming on the sleeves varies from individual to individual.
It was interesting to watch one of them take a drink from a water bottle without exposing her face.

Take it from someone who has been sewing for more than 40 years ... those burkas are very different from each other! There's a lot of individuality expressed here, within the boundaries of what's appropriate, I'm sure. Their purses, the details on their burkas, bits of ornamentation ... it's fascinating to see!

As Andrea stated, I immediately saw that fashion is alive and well among these women. Everything is individualized on each girl. Modesty and immodesty at the same time, almost cross purposes if there is any real tangible purpose at all other than to serve the control needs of the men.
