Description
I will be gone from September 6th/7th until September 15th.
Archery season has opened and I will be with my friend, away from civilization with dreams to fill my freezer with elk, deer, bear and whatever else crosses my path.
I know that there are those of you who may disagree with what I'm doing and I respect your feelings.
by and large, though, I wish you all a great week with lots of great art and comments.
Take care my friends
Mike
ps I will have my various cameras with me, so even on the extreme off-chance I do not get anything, I will have some great photos of the areas.
BTW: I am a firm believer of eating what I kill - I do not go for the trophy; I go for the meat.

Daffy: "Rabbit Season!" Bugs: "Duck Season!" Daffy: "Rabbit Season!" Bugs: "Duck Season!" Just steer clear of those two and you'll be fine, Mike. Happy hunting!
Thanks for the reminder of that great scene between those two
have a safe trip and killing for food is another story. do not become food for the hunted!!
Weidmann's salvation .... we say in germany, Mike, the hunter!
Have a nice vacation, Mike - actually, what the difference to buy meat in a grocery or get the food by yourself? See you when you got back. PS. I have something for you when ready. ;o)
I don't like the idea of hunting for sport but if you are only using a bow and arrow and not a telescopic scope with a high powered rifle then, I can respect that you for giving the animals a chance and would actually like to go bow hunting myself but probably never will.
Sigh...
enjoy the time away from civilization... I hope you didn't go too "Clan of the Cave Bear" on us...
Take care on you and good hunting!

I too am on the same page as most people in here... never been a hunter myself... love animals too much, but to each his own. I wish you come back with what you longed for Mike! :) Have a wonderful week!
I hope you also have a relaxed time out there, Mike. And I like it, you don't go for the trophy.
