Description
When Ronnie heard that I was looking for a macro lens, he strongly recommended the Sigma 105mm that he is using. With our South African currency so pathetic at the moment, I had to wait a couple of months and was very lucky when my nephew found the lens for me in Dubai at a very reasonable price. I got it today!!!! :):):)
Ronnie - this is the first image I took with my lens and thought I would dedicate it to you to say thank you for your help!
Apologies for being so scarce with posting and comments. I am trying to keep quite a few balls in the air at the moment!

Congratulations, and what a lovely beginning! Ronnie's having some computer issues at the moment, so don't be dismayed if he doesn't comment for a little; I'll be sure and tell him to look at this!
Thanks Denise! So glad you told me. I was wondering why he hasn't read my 'thank you' sitemail yet!

We had one in the garden when I was a boy. It eventually covered the entire roof of our garage. A great first effort. Aren't new toys fun to play with?

A great capture of my favorite flower/plant!
You shouldn't be juggling balls at your age LOL! Great shot, and it is a fantastic lens isn't it. I am awaiting a delivery of a new machine, my beloved computer is throwing a snit. Only this morning did I manage an upload. I knew it was not rendo, it was my failing puter. Thanks for the dedi sweetie, I will put it in my faves :) Ron x
