after seeing such a lovely render, love it!!, it was startling to 'hear' what you have to deal with r now so, so sorry about your cat and mother!! you say your mother ALSO has to be fed, therefore hope you're force feeding the cat too and of course, give her fluids. is she really suffering?? and not very old?? here homeopathy worked numerous miracles (!!) and saved lives!! virus + not eating sounds like fever or vomiting/diarrhea or secretion or ?? for almost anything nature has a remedy, while the medicin cabinet -and forgive me, proper knowledge- of allopaths/vets is usually not very big. forgive me pls if this sounds annoying, it comes from the heart... I so would like to hear things have turned for the better?!! search and thy shall find!?? pls try to hope for the better i.e. get into a more positive mood?!! (if meant for you, it will come unto ur path... even solutions? matter of choice?). annoying yeah... but where I come from (the very -alter-native planet), everything is energy (Einstein), even thoughts... and like attracts like... (what we, from our alternative planet, have known for ages, someone has -cleverly- turned into a book -and movie, even on youtube-, it is called 'the secret'. know that? can be sooo annoying when one has to deal with issues, cuz it's true. been there, tried that. for me, going into depression mode, is almost like a sin, cuz bad attracts bad... and the other way round?) as for your horsie (wow! :-)). I'll be the last to try to tell you 'things'!! have to agree with windigo's words though. from what I know (and have seen), they are hypersensitive (being animals of prey). it's a classic that when someone is really down, but approaches a horse in a 'cheerful' way, they can't wrap their heads around it, since what they see and feel or sense doesn't match, and therefore get veryyy nervous, crazy or ? learned one has to be completely 'honest' with a horse. and people, for that matter. ;-) also learned that one always has to stay 'with' the horse, while riding or ..... when the alpha person has other things on his/her mind, horse is on it's own and can bolt. the so called 'difficult' horsies are often the most sensitive? love the books of Linda Kohanov on the subject, about horsies and about HSP. and more... a very long story, trying to cheer you up? !! :-D because there are heartbreaking issues at the mom, doesn't mean that you don't have the power to event. turn them around? acc. to what was meant to be, that is? to find solutions, answers, choices? or at least, give it a shot?? wishing you all the luck in the world!!!!!!!!!! hope all will get well soon!!! will keep all fingers crossed!!! with a big comforting HUG -if allowed- from this side of the big pond...
