Description
I wish I had worn a bathing suit
I wish I had a pair of swimming goggles
I wish I had a plastic bag to protect my camera
I wish I had left my wallet and cell phone in the car
I wish I had an anti fogging wipe for my camera lens
Notice that there are no other people standing around in this section of the Gorge.
The granite walls are 70 to 90 feet (21 to 27 meters) and are 12 to 20 feet (3.7 to 6.1 meters) wide. The noise of the rushing water is louder than Niagara Fall because of the confining space and the trees overhead. Cant wait to go back next year.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

I imagine the passage through this gorge, I think it is better to be protected from rain indeed! Excellent capture, Dana!
That looks dangerous. Very nice capture.
Very cool capture & very funny monologue
Wow, it's a very impressive capture, and your text is very funny, Dana !
Wonderful place to be I think!! Great shot!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL – At the base of YF I found it impossible to get a capture because of the spray – remarkable job and stunning POV!
Hilarious! How very exciting though!

Greats shot and nice text .. hope that nobody is going to fall into that waterfall :)
Oh wow, Dana! You're really sharing the beauty of New Hampshire with the group!! Hmm...perhaps you need a poncho like they give you when you go on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls, LOL. This is an awesome shot!!!!
That bridge looks a bit scary. So wonderful. Don't forget all those things you wished when you go back. xx
awesome place and fabulous capture
EXCELLENT IMAGE
Perhaps this is the origin of the word gorgeous! Never thought of that until now.
And next year you'll be prepared! What a stunning POV; bet it got your pulse racing!
Impressive place :D
My friend this is truely gorgeous. :)))))))) I can just about hear the sound of the rushing water. :)))) This looks like alot of fun. :))))))) Most excellent capture my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :))))) Carry A Sunshine Smile In Your Heart :))))))
Wow, what a shot!! I remember walking along the Merced River one early spring and having the sound bounce off the granite boulders that line the river. It seemed like the sound came from the rocks rather than the river. Amazing what water can do and the noise it can make. This is simply awesome!!
LOL @ your text!! and noticing... prior to reading just thought it was almost heroic to walk there and even more to get pics and WHAT A PIC, WOW!!! not even a path?!! sinc. hope no damage was done!! awesome place, dito pic!! TYSM for sharing!! (I ruined my Nikon 35mm compact once on a pilot boat, on which we took our visitors to see our town from 'a diff. angle'. it had sailed for months in a row. it happened to be not wave proof. :-( )
A wonderful wild capture, dear Dana. Hugs for all day. Di. xx
What a shot! I bet it was exciting though! I hope your camera got through the ordeal. It got you a superb record of the event!

I think what you really wish is that they would had placed a sign warning to carry all that things, before starting the tour ;) Great capture of this wild river
