Description
Second of three photos taken on the night of a super moon near sunset. This one was taken in the opposite direction of the previous one (the moon was behind me in the sky). So, in the context of Wayne's (whaleman) comment on the previous photo, the last one was a super moon at sunset & this one is a sunset at super moon.
I often create a separate Photoshop layer for the sky so I can make separate adjustments to it & the rest of an image. In this case (& for the next one), I created separate layers for sky, sea, rocks, & foreground, which enabled me to adjust each of them more effectively.

Excellent shot! Love to be standing in a place like this right about now! You pushed the histogram a little too far and got purple color noise blotches in the water along the shoreline. Had the same problem with several photos recently. Not much you can do to fix them from what I have found.
