Description
This is my reproduction of an image which can easily be found online. If you google the term "ufo" and look in the images, the original image will show up.
This particular image has been copied and used all over the internet prolifically. It's so widespread, I couldn't trace a source to determine who created the original or the original artist.
If anybody discovers who is the original artist, please post it here in a comment!
I loved the original image but I wanted to try it out on my own in Carrara. I did a reasonable job reproducing it but this version has a few distinct modifications. The most important one being the illumination of the grass by the UFO above.
I wrote a small forum article on how I created this image in the Carrara forum. Please feel free to go and read what it took to create this.
This version posted here in the gallery is slightly modified from the one in the forum posting. I added the grass illumination and changed the starfield to have more small stars which gave the image a lot of nice depth.
Again, kudos to the original artist whomever that may be as this image shows great imagination and has excellent balance and composition!
