Description
Captured 8/10/13, around noon, at an annual car show not far from home.
Even better via ZOOM.
Here we have a pair of intrepid photogs atop the roof of a two story brick building - once condemned as an earthquake hazard - feverishly snapping the crowd and vehicles below. Great fun. If I knew how they had got up there, I would have joined them for a round of fotos, aches and pains permitting.
Composition difficult to achieve because these were hand-held long range pics.
I'll be posting more shots of this grand event as time goes by.
Hard to believe, but with my point and shoot camera, I took a total of 471 pics before my battery was depleted. I thought I had taken only about 250 shots, and was stunned by the actual figure.

I can imagine the view they had up there. Great photo at the end there, looks like they were snapping a shot of you shooting them. Looking forward to some of the photos from the show.
I do that sometimes; I'll come home with twice or three times the number of shots that I thought I'd gotten, although most of them won't be keepers. This looks like a fun spot to get shots from, no one in the way. Wonder how the smart phone shots came out? You'd have done better than her, hands down! Excellent series of shots of these two, and it looks like there was some chuckling in the last one as he shot you shooting him!

Last one is my favorite. A photographer taking a picture of you taking a picture of them taking a picture of you. LOL :}
first, there's a sequence here, as always: Three different angles, where we get to see most of the faces in the third; and then them looking at you. (Which is a great topper.) Second, once again you have crystal clarity and hue. Sharp and vivid. Three, a fascinating pair! The guy has some major tattoos, and the lady has a few too (one under her blouse). A rugged pair! Four, it's great that you end with them shooting you as you shoot them: Meeting of the photographers. (Though I assume they're not in your league, artistically, they're still photographers.) Delightful end to the sequence, and it looks like they got a great kick out of finding you there. A nice clear sky too. Well this could go into your photographers series, only it's a departure. A delightful bunch, either way. Great conclusion.
