Description
I am sure this is not the last time I will post images of a Carolina Saddlebags dragonfly but it is the last of this short (three image) series showing this particular specimen.
This image has been edited with a heavy hand - so to speak. It has been cropped severely, cloned to remove unwanted objects, clarified, manipulated with various adjustments of contrast-brightness-sharpness and enhanced with digital lighting.
Straight out of the camera, this was my least favorite of the 3 images I chose to post but after editing, it became my favorite of the three.
Most of the time, my main attempt is to capture an insect with as much detail as possible but with this image there was so little dragonfly detail visible in the original silhouette image that I decided to be a bit more (artsy) with it.
My thanks to those who have taken the time to comment on previous postings. The feedback is appreciated.
