This piece may appear to be funny but it's really black humour. There is a genuine message with this and that is no matter what emotional pain you may be experiencing, Woody made the wrong decision and tomorrow might have been a brighter day. When I created this piece all those years back up in the attic studio I probably had too much time on my hands and thought I would try a few stupid ideas out, this was one of them. Suicide is not painless and does not always work and can often only make things worse. Talking to somebody you trust is the first thing and NEVER take Woody's way out, you leave more pain behind than you ease from yourself. it can be selfish.
