Description
Well at long last, here we go with page 11 of the Girls' adventures in Washington DC. The fun is just beginning, as you will see over the next couple of pages.
As the story progresses, I find myself continually coming up with ideas – and consequently trying to find ways to write them into the story. And for those of you who are wondering, I have not forgotten the Girls' little Gecko friend, and his two lizard pals Ralph and George. They do still have a part to play in the story. You'll also be seeing more of the Stooge Aliens – and you'll get to meet their leader. And of course you will get to see more of the Girls' friends and associates. And you'll be meeting quite a few new characters as well. There will be several side-stories in the next chapters.
Most of the buildings in the last three panels started life as .3DS files from Archive3d.net. I cobbled the restaurant together with one of those .3DS files, and a couple primitive props from Poser. The lettering was done in both Vue and Photoshop. The tables and stools are also from Archive3d.net.
I have started my four-week tour of dayshift this week, so I'm actually beginning to feel somewhat human. I should almost be back to Neanderthal stage by the time I have to go back on hell shift for four weeks.
Hopefully the Girls' adventures will provide a little lift to all of us in this community after some of the sad news over the past several days.

you come up with the most cool ideas on this best of all comic series Rod, long awaited this chapter and already wanting the next my friend. ha, ha, Rod's greasy spoon, so cool! would love to have some food at that place. mostly when they visit. man o man G4 looks so hot and sexy with that very tight shirt!! would love to kiss her inbetween the limbs. snicker.. zoom is a must for all.
Rod, let me say that you are doing a fantastic job on this series. You are becoming quite masterful at weaving the story lines together. As Steve pointed out, I also loved the Rod's Greasy Spoon. (Any chance you might open a franchise on Metcalfe street in Overland Park?)

Mr and Mrs Smith. Great play on Angelina, though I thought it one of her most crappy movies. But I do love that woman's real life FY attitude. Talk about great directional lighting with the lamps in the living room. This sure is a girls night out kinda story. Seems it's all the women operatives who have a hate on for Slickie.

I love all the detail you put into this. Great photos on the wall, great lighting, nice poses ... it's marvelous work! And I think it's a testament to the way you've presented your characters that we see Arawen in a blonde wig and she just doesn't look right. I mean ... seriously ... they're just Poser characters. You've given them such individual personalities that a change like that jars. VERY well done!
Sounds like the eekdog is in heat - lol... ....in scene two, what happened to the wigs? lol.... and did G4 forget her sunglasses??? Cool comic as always. I noticed also G4 looks more tan than ever, did you have her outside the last few chapters? ....on a serious note, how did you hear about Susan/Blush? She and I knew each other for years here but there was only a time or two we site mailed each other....not seeing her avatar around is gonna be like if Dave disappeared. I really should upload something and visit some friends - life just seems over whelming at the moment.
The amount of work that goes into these episodes is truley awesome mate. I take my virtual hat off to ya for sure!!

OMG!!!!!!!!! I'm laughing my ARSE OFF! So many great things in this Rod! I LOVE the reference to the Mr & Mrs Smith movie! And the name of your restaurant? LOL! LMAO @ Steve's comment about kissing G4 "between the limbs", LOL. G4 also looks hot in those low cut jeans too. Well, she looks hot in or out of anything anyway, LOL. Superb lighting, poses and facial expression as always too. BTW ... I think you're aging yourself with that pass-code buddy! ; )
