Description
I cannot believe all these gorgeous airplanes are free!! Bryce IBL render with skydome only. The background clouds are a seamless texture from my photos applied to a seamless background modeled in Rhino and UV Mapped in UVLayout. There are also 2 image planes containing clouds layered in here as well as post work in Photopaint. The mg blasts and engine exhaust on the Me-262 are modeled in Rhino and use Bryce textures.
The P-38 and Me-262 are by bazze and are free at colacola.se. The excellent B-24J and FW-190 are by Neiwil and are free at ShareCG.
I enthusiastically endorse all the freebies used in the creation of this image!!

Good job of packing in all those planes into a small area. Yes we should all give a big thank you to those people who put free products right on the web for our use. Also thank you for letting me know about the B-24. I must have missed that in my surfing.

A timely reminder- I should check out Bazze's P-38. Mind you, I don't mind buying great models too- I bought Bazze's Kittyhawk early in my foray into 3D and love it. Still, free models are always appreciated- you never know what might turn up next.. and I know something of what it takes to make these things, so hats off to you all.
