Description
It is summer and we’re splashing,
at the waters, in the sea.
No more thinking of the winter,
only fun is there to be.
Looking though a little further,
what’s to be found there at the beach.
So much of our evolution,
the only thing is just to reach.
Shells and cuttlefish bone are resting,
like that shark tooth to be found.
When the ocean’s gone to whisper,
you final hear a seagull’s sound.

With the horizontal flukes, I'm wondering if she's more mammalian than icthyian...I've considered attempting a mermaid that's half-dolphin or orca rather than fish.
