Description
Zan's Prehistoric World
Narrative:
It must be noted that Zan is currently the only demon in resident at Spirit City and, of course, the only demon student attending the Junior High Academy.
Several hours before the big school play Fox found himself rushing to make Zan a new costume as the Principal had called and explained that Zan's current costume couldn't be used due to the schools fire code.
Zan had been very upset over the incident but quickly forgot it when he received such high praise for his rendition of 'Demon Slain."
There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience, faces were pale from joy, and some had to rush out of the theater holding their hands over their mouths as they could not contain their shouts of praise. And yet others fainted from the performance and had to be carried out of the school theater. One woman even called Zan a living horror. Zan was very honored at the compliment.
After the play the school principal told Fox never to allow Zan to read Demon Poetry out loud again. Zan understood completely. The other students needed to have a chance to excel as well.
Zan was a very happy demon for weeks after as girls, and more then a few boys would break down and cry when they saw Zan coming down the hallway.
Demon Slain
By the Poet Malevolent IV.
Thou hast fallen upon a field of gore and blood my nemesis.
Thou skin is blackened and falls from thy body.
I hold your still beating heart in my hand and crush it to the screams of your laments.
I look into your eyes as they fade and pluck them out and feast upon them before the light is gone from thou dying eyes.
I will crush thou bones beneath my feet in honor of such a one as thou, mine dearest of enemies.
For never again shall I gaze upon thou brow across the field of charred bodies.
Never again shall I know the honor to plunge my sword through thy chest.
Thou hast fallen before me demon slain.
I shall show thee the greatest of honors and crush your house and cut your kin away as the chaff in the wind.
I will drive your children burning into the sea and the creatures of the deep will drag them down and their bones will rest in the cold for eternity.
I shall drink your blood from your skull and give tribute as you burn eternal.
For thou art my, Demon Slain.

Wonderfully done. Rick
Nice. Love your Ideas.
Lol. Well done. I hope he was making eye-contact with the audience during his recital - you know how people enjoy audience participation.
Absolutely amazing and in the same vein as Kenny Rogers song of the little boy playing with a ball and bat ' The ball goes up, the bat swings round, the ball hits the ground' He misses several times but congratulates himself on being a great pitcher!! Great artwork again!!
Cool story. Zan might get some time off from school as a "reward" for his stories.
Very Shakesperian. Perhaps he should be a thespian.
