Superb capture. God bless.
What a rich colony of growth, very beautiful capture!
Nicely seen and a great pic. I saw Kate last night too - excellent programme.
Love those textures. Perfect.
Very beautiful collection of lichen
GREAT IMAGE!
Superb texture
Various shapes and textures abound in this cool shot of the ubiquitous lichen, Andrea, apparently occupying all nooks and crannies. I'm surprised that the Old Rectory was allowed to fall under such disrepair, but that's another issue.
Like offering your goods on Supermarket shelves, just take your pick ... not edible though ;( some shapes look almost like coral, nature is beautiful ! BB
Gorgeous color and a nice variety of shapes and textures.
cool
nice capture, texture and color tones.
cool; so many different species
Great shot !
That is some very interesting patterns here awesome stuff.
Lovely variety!!
A must zoom not only to check out the different lichens but also the patterns in the aging wood!
like your other lichen closeups, very exotic and a total surprise. It actually looks like lichens on a shelf in a store. Or lichens coming out of a shed, to air in the sun. Or to chat. You always get lots of variety in these shots, and the contrast of these creatures against the broken and decayed wood is beautiful. It's like a visit from a lichen apartment complex, where everyone has come onto their balconies to check out the city below, A gregarious capture with amazing variety right under our noses. Andrea I have to stop for now, but I'll be back another time before I leave. It's always a pleasure...always. This is a beautiful capture.
They look so healthy and happy! A beautiful colony, and a terrific shot!
Great pic And I really like their decor and color of their little home Hugs Susan
