Description
This is a composite of three photographs I took recently, each of them a texture study. One was bark on a tree, one was a stack of firewood & the other was an eroded cliff. I think the result somewhat resembles petrified wood.
I will be traveling to British Columbia for the next couple of weeks. I may find some time to browse the galleries, but won't be posting any photos until I return - hopefully with some interesting images to share...

That definitely looks like some petrified wood. I found a petrified trunk off of four mile creek outside of Canon City, Colorado many years ago that looked almost exactly the same. Going up to renew your supply of BC Bud eh?
