Maybe I'm a day late.
But with this picture I want to tell you how much I appreciate you, dear Dave.
You always are present to give a nice comment, and I consider you as a good friend.
So here I send you the best wishes for many blessed years, my friend.
You always tell such beautiful stories by uploading your perfect images.
Now I tell you the little story that fits with this picture:
Karel and I walked in the Limburg hills, many sheep were seen in the meadows.
A ram, male sheep, came to Karel.
Karel went to talk to him, and stroked him. This you really should never do,
because males sheep can give you a head butt, they can be easily angered.
But there was a very nice, intense contact between the sheep and Karel.
Suddenly the sheep ran away, and he came back with his wife.
You saw how proud he wanted to show that female to Karel.
That was in a way a very endearing event.
So lovely to see this sheep couple, and to see how proud the ram was.
Like he asked, " what do you think of my wife"?
Well, this was my story for you, Dave.
"Happy Birthday, dear Dave".

A lovely capture and a very endearing story, I can imagine that was a lovely moment, and it reminds us there is a big connection between us and the animals on the planet and we must respect them, love them and understand them more than some may think we need to. I hold great suspicions towards anyone who think they are insignificant or only serve to entertain us when bored. If they are in our lives they can be as loyal and as loving as any human and in some cases I have witnessed them to have greater compassion and tolerance. So I say treat all animals with the respect they deserve, this is one example of that connection.

You really made my day with this thoughtful gesture, and your friendship is something I will always treasure, I absolutely love this photo of Karel interacting with the make sheep, and I enjoyed the story of how he brought his wife to show you.

Those black faces do it to me every the time - LOL - you can also find them here in OZ , (I mean these kind of sheep, not only faces! ;) aren't they just so interesting and funny looking? I love them and what good timing that was, showing his wife off to Karel - wonderful capture, Jacominchen take care my friend ... BB *** A little explanation, re: my absence of comments recent posts, I have been experiencing 'hotmail' problems, not receiving any ebots, etc. - for a week or so, apparently 'hotmail' was hacked ? - rather annoying ;( and I will try to catch up with everybody by the weekend ;))
