Description
Ha Long Bay encompasses about 600 square miles and has about 1,600 limestone islands and islets, most of them uninhabited. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has recently been named as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Ha Long Bay is part of the Gulf of Tonkin, in the South China Sea.
