I was lucky to find this little shroom in my garden May 28. Zoom for better view. Have a lovely sunday :) We have mixed weather again today but no rain. :) Thanks for viewing and commenting :)

Early shrooms are such fun to discover and Chicago has been damp enough for a few to sprout here, though I've been spending all of my time at work and at home, with very little adventure in between...AH, but I only work for 4 hours today and so maybe I'll find something to photograph. I love the texture of this shroom, the outer skin is crackled which shows that it's actually still growing. What a nice surprise! Great colors too...for some reason, it makes me think of pita bread, fresh from the stone oven...only not quite as golden brown, but close.
