A glamour image it is not, just a follow up to the last posting. Of course I hiked up to the top for an image of the polished column tops. Only a couple 6 sided shapes in this group, but the pattern of the glaciers passing can still be seen. When I looked at this, before reading the story, I thought it was paving stones. I've seen a few of these columns but I have never seen one so perfectly smooth and structured. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us. I have to see this one.

Sccuurrraaappe! Scrape and scour. Glaciers are good at that and this is a perfect example, Dana! This almost looks like an old concrete textured patio. Excellent capture.
