Description
A glamour image it is not, just a follow up to the last posting.
Of course I hiked up to the top for an image of the polished column tops. Only a couple 6 sided shapes in this group, but the pattern of the glaciers passing can still be seen.
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!
Thank you all that viewed my last image below.

Great capture a rock hound's delight
Great path
Just like 'crazy paving'.
When I looked at this, before reading the story, I thought it was paving stones. I've seen a few of these columns but I have never seen one so perfectly smooth and structured. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us. I have to see this one.
amazing that a glacier passes there
That glacier did a good job of grinding these down eh. I love that you have documented this with such a good photo.
Just amazing!
First time I have see photo of the top of these, cool.

Sccuurrraaappe! Scrape and scour. Glaciers are good at that and this is a perfect example, Dana! This almost looks like an old concrete textured patio. Excellent capture.
