I just remembered that Chris Barnard performed the world's first human heart transplant operation on 3 December 1967 just up the road from here at Groote Schuur Hospital.

This is a nice work! It reminds me of a model here who recently had an authentic-looking heart tattooed right in front of her heart, on a perfect body. It was the first time I disliked a tattoo and I have no desire to photograph her, even if she did show up which is unlikely.
