It's almost farewell to our Autumn and hello to Winter once again ;((
I am not really looking forward to it - but I am already dreaming of warmer days and nights ;))
Somehow, this last little seed of the Dandelion is hanging in there, waiting for a breeze to get carried away and we all know what that means ? multiplication & more weeding!
I wish you all, in the Northern Hemisphere, a beautiful Summer ...
(btw. today's temp. was only a chilly 19C and tomorrows forecast is for a warmish 22C)

What a gorgeous photo! I love the single seed ... so impactful! That bridge is in the town where we have our permanent campsite and will be living this summer. The bridge itself won't pose a problem for us when we get back, but the resulting traffic in town will be a pain in the patootie. We'll be home in a couple of weeks ... and it won't be fixed by then, for sure! LOL!

Nice to see that last one hanging on, waiting for just the right things! Well, summer is just beginning here in Alberta, but the mosquitoes at Elk Island the other day were terrible!
You have this little dandelion umbrella described very well. Because it depends so lonely, waiting to go on the trip. Our Spring / Summer proves to be very varied. Heat to 28 ° and the next day, autumnal Wind, rain, 10-15 °. April weather in late May? I do not go out of the house without umbrella. The summer probably falls into the water.
Looks sad and lonely, but not for long...damn' more Garden work ! Kool find and enhancements, it seems our Winter isn't quite as bad as we thought ! Remind me not to move to Europe...bbrrrrr ! ~Cheers~

This is beautiful! Wonderful light, detail, and textures. I love the way the white hairs of the pappus (yes, I looked that term up.) shine against the blue background. This is magical! I love it! We had a heat index of 101F (38.3C) today. Summer is here with a vengeance.
