Description
It's back now to another one of my 'Night-moves' ...
I could hear a sound like no other and only an Owl could possibly do, of course I had to investigate, and wondered from which direction it came, so with my LED torch, the search was on - because I had never, in the 10 years we have lived here, come across this 'hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo? sound,
and finally two red-hot coal-looking eyes were a dead give-away! ;))
I had to put it into photoshop, otherwise you would have never seen anything, except for those eyes.
Cheers Brigitte

Aha, I see you've captured an image of the Hoot Owl from Hell. MUHAHAHAHA! With the full moon in the sky, perfect. Superb shot. You should have saved this one for Halloween.
This is so effective, and closer than I have ever come to getting an owl shot, except for a stuffed one!
Wow, this is an outstanding find and capture Brigitte!! A wonderful composition!!
fabulous image
Amazing to get this at all! Wow!
This is truely amazing. :))))) We use to have owls around here until they started taking their homes away. :( It is very sweet to see one again if only in a picture. :))))) Thank you so very much for sharing this beauty. :))))) Most excellent capture and postwork my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :))))) Carry A Sunshine Smile In Your Heart :))))))
lovely image, Brit! knowing that gloom and darkness, joy and light are only parts of something much bigger, I am sure there will be a wonderful sunny morn and a new wisdom, perhaps conveyed by this owl.
owls at night are soo damn hard to get... superb artistry!
WOW no postwork on that? Terrific that you were able to capture this
great work! Blessing from the owl and I
Your postwork brought out everything, and it has an eerie late night grain---more than just ISO, it's a kind of late night energy. And the moon looks almost flat back there---very eerie---and the owl is like an etching. A beautiful shot, and those owl eyes still seem penetrating and deep, even in this webwork of dead-of-the-night branches and moon. Terrific night image.
